AN OPEN LETTER IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMPLAINT TO HOTLINE MALAY MAIL ON 19 JULY 2011 TITLED “ACCESS BLOCKED”
The above matter refers and as a fellow resident of the Taman Desa Community it is regrettable that you have chosen to go the press without first attempting to seek clarification from the Committee. We are therefore left with no choice but to respond directly to you in this form.
1. CLOSURE OF GATES
The 4 gates are closed from 10.00pm till 6.00am daily and not as you have claimed and/or reported in the Malay Mail Hotline. This has been the practice for almost a year since when TDRA was managing the Security Scheme. The gates although closed are NOT LOCKED and there is signage to guide traffic. The closure is NOT motivated by cost considerations.
2. SPLITTING UP OF TAMAN DESA INTO TWO(2) PHASES
The split was created by TDRA when they demarcated Taman Desa into Phase 1 and 2 for Security Management. TDP1RA was formed to manage Phase 1 Security Services as required by the Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government. The primary cause of the split was TDRA insistence on using foreign manpower as guards. We at Phase 1 are TOTALLY against this idea. On hindsight, we have been proven right. Please do remember that the TDP1RA Committee members work on voluntary basis. People do not just form an association for fun or out of spite. There’s no smoke without fire.
3. OFFERING OF DISCOUNT TO RESIDENTS
The offering of discount is the prerogative of the RA which has a Committee. The Committee members are joint and severally responsible for the management and administration of the Association as well as whatever funds collected for whatever purposes. TDRA and many other associations do the same.
4. OVERALL COMPLAINTS AND COMMENTS
We are surprised that all these while you have chosen not to approach us directly to air your grouses. It may be coincidental that your complaint comes at a time when Phase 2 Taman Desa is facing a massive spate of security breaches and Phase 1 having a ZERO incident record. We trust you are enjoying a peace of mind with the present security setup. As such, you would want the security scheme to continue to be successful wouldn’t you?
We have weekly meetings on Friday nights at the Community Centre and EVERYONE regardless of whether they are a member or not so long as they are a bona fide resident of Phase1 Taman Desa are welcome to come and give their 2 sen worth.
We trust the above adequately addresses your complaint and we look forward to your participation.

I feel sorry for you Ms. Lina Koh who seems to be ignorance for the past one year of what’s happening within the community and suddenly you're trying to be a hero without realizing that you are actually a zero.
ReplyDeleteOne thing for sure is that we are not going to give up all our effort just because of your complaint to the media or the authorities. We will pursue the matter until we get ALL the necessary clearance from the respective authorities.

What shall we do to her? Come on ladies and gentlemen give your views?
People like this we should not let them off just like that.
I think I know LK is of Datin status with intimate liaison to my WC. She was supposed to deliver her whole street to him as pledged, but her plan turned disastrous when neighbourhood subscribed fully to your security scheme! Being vindictive, she really came all out to sabotage your successful scheme at the expense of peace and safety of your community!!

I don't care who this person is. What is important is to stop her from creating disharmony within our community.

TDP1RA committee keeps it up the great job. I don't know anyone else who will be able to manage the security services without you guys been around.
We will support and continue support all the efforts taken by TDP1RA to make our housing scheme safer.

Pls check first, there are many other Phase 1 so called Datins (up Puncak & opp Padang) that dont pay for the security services after being used & abused by u-know-who Agent Saboteur P2.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to retaliate by starting a BOYCOTT on that Datin's husband Training Centre but God advised me to pray for him instead.
I do not want to go down to the gutter level which these people are made of.
Whatever her status or liaison(s) if any doesn't matter. At the core, unless she is not human, her blood is red, she needs food, shelter and everything else a human need to live. She is just as mortal as every other human being.

ReplyDeleteYou guys are being fooled by He-Whose-Name-Cannot-Be-Said (not Lord Valdermort la).
The whole issue arose just because Phase 2 was hit by 10 robberies / burglaries in the last few weeks. Phase 2 RA needs a distraction, scape goat and employing FEAR tactic to force Phase 2 residents to continue subscribing to the foreign security guards.
My diagnostics say Lina Koh is being used & soon will be left out to dry on top of Taman Desa reservoir.

Kindly continue your good work. Dont let just 1 complaint spoils the hard work you guys have put in for the residents (it's 1 fellow vs 300 households). DBKL can do the maths, right?

ReplyDeletemy street got one family only husband and wife,driving 3 luxury car,if you try to talk to them security scheme ,they will fxxk you like a mad dog.I think they know lina koh.
Who LK is and all these rich fellows who do not want to pay ...its ok...when they hv experienced the nightmare which some of us have then they'll realize how vulnerable they are...hopefully its not too late by then..
