IS THERE a law against dog
owners making their pets pee and poop in front of the houses of neighbours?
This has become common practice in Klang, and is most annoying and upsetting.
Imagine driving out of your home in
the morning only to run over a fresh pile right in front of the driveway.
Imagine having visitors come over only to be greeted by poop at the front gate.
These dog owners would never have
their dogs do it in front of their houses. Oh no, they are taken for walks
along the grass patches near the homes of others for this unsightly and foul
business.
Where I live, at least a dozen
households take their dogs for walks along the roads – a few times a day. You
can only imagine what this amounts to.
Pet waste should never become a
neighbourhood nuisance and hazard. Not only is this inconsiderate and selfish,
it also gives all good dog owners a bad name. Can anything be done to stop
this?

An excellent article. As much as we love our pets, there are living human beings who treat their pets better than their own friends, neighbours & even family members. In Taman Desa itself I personally know of this chap for ease of reference I shall call "Mr J" who is willing to turn his home into a kennel for strays on the urging of his "animal rights loving neighbour" for whom I shall refer to as "Mr S". The irony of it all is this Mr S does not turn his own home into a kennel! If u were to look at the house or put it under observation...it is all closed up & one hardly sees a living soul lest a pet stepping out of the house. A clear case of an idiot (Mr J) happily being a smarter idiot's (Mr S) idiot! Of course when we analyse the situation, Mr S deserves what's coming as he has behaving like …………..!
ReplyDeleteI know of a kind neighbour who collects other people's dog's poo with large leaves. She picks the waste and throws them into drains. She does the same for her own dog. I also know a corner house owner of 2 black dogs, who allows his dogs to roam freely on certain nights. I've seen them poo and 'mark' their territories on car tyres. If you're reading this, it could have been YOUR car that was urined on last night ;)
ReplyDeleteIf you allow attaching of photos, I can upload the picture of dogs for you. Then, you can have a game of guessing who the owner is.
Hi Anonymous, We will consider putting up photos that deem not offending others.
DeleteYou could send the photos and will revive and decide if it appropriate to be published.
Please send the photos to tdp1ra@gmail.com
What is offending about putting up pictures of pet dogs roaming about freely? Offending to the owners for being irresponsible?
