High Profile Policing

This involves senior police officers (ranked Inspector and above) doing walkabouts in commercial areas, streets and residential areas. Dressed in full uniform, they will patrol together with beat policemen for at least three hours a week.

This will enable the officers to mingle with the public while gathering first-hand information.

Besides interacting with members of the public, the police officers will distribute crime-prevention pamphlets to create better awareness.

PDRM hope the programme would be well received and urged members of the public to cooperate with the police in fighting crime.
